Provide First Aid

Participants will be provided with information and knowledge on a number of competencies such as performing CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator, special techniques for children and infants, breathing emergencies, allergic reaction, poisoning and bites and more.

Men At Work Training & Assessment is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and as such, we are responsible for the quality of the training and assessment in compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015, and for the issuance of AQF certification documentation.

Career Outcomes This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid and provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
On Completion Successful participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and Provide First Aid card within 10 days of the training
Description This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Cancellation Cancellation fees apply if enrolments are cancelled 3 or less days prior to the start date of the course.

Requirements
  • Appropriate clothing including comfortable enclosed shoes must be worn.
  • Photo identification.
  • Your first aid certificate has an expiry of 3 years from the date of issue.
